Product Description

Coated inside and out with an Autograph nonstick coating, Anolon Advanced cookware provides heavyweight, professional-quality performance and 21st-century convenience. Pots and pans clean easily, while the rugged nonstick readily releases food. Beneath the nonstick is heavy-gauge, harder-than-steel anodized aluminum. Pot and pan bottoms are left uncoated to conduct heat quickly and prevent hot spots. Like many other Anolon cookware lines, Anolon Advanced features the company's patented SureGrip handles, which are a combination of 18/10 stainless steel and silicone rubber and are riveted to the sides for durability. The ergonomic handles provide a comfortable, confident grip and stay cool on the stovetop for easy control. Break-resistant, domed glass lids permit cooking to be monitored without releasing heat and are oven-safe to 400 degrees F.

This 10-piece set outfits a kitchen with all essential pots and pans. It consists of an 3 quart covered saute pan, a 1-1/2- and 3-quart covered saucepan, an 8-quart covered stockpot, and an 8- and 10-inch open French skillet. The cookware carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects and should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

I have had this set now for 2 years. I cook with them every day and there are virtually no scratches. I have a gas stove and they cook evenly and are very durable. I love the size of these pans. They are a bit heavy but I work around that. I have only used plastic or wooden utensils and I do wash them by hand. They are very easy clean up, if you wash right after use it makes it that much easier but if you don't wash right after use, a little hot water and some soap will clean them right out.

I was very iffy and did a lot of research before I spent this kind of money on a set of pots and pans. I wanted to be sure I would get a set that lasted. I have to say that after 2 years they are still like new. I love to cook in them each time it's like having a new set everyday. I hardly use any oil just a little bit of spray and we are ready to go. I have a family of 5 and do a lot of cooking and not having to worry about things sticking or burning is a huge deal. I am always trying to cook and do other things at the same time and I can't stand over the stove.

I strongly suggest this set. I can't say enough about it. 2 years with no scratches, amazing....
Heavy with no noticeable wear after a year...

I am in love with this cookware line. The weight is great (that is, very heavy), I've never experienced any "hot-spotting" or other troubles with the cookware itself (and that's even at my new apartment, where the stove is simply awful). Food began turning out better after I purchased these, and I will probably purchase no other brand in the future. I have had the lids fall from my lid rack that is mounted on my wall a distance of 3-4 feet and none have broken, so fear not if glass lids make you nervous- these are well built. My only advice is to hand wash- it will keep the rubber grips from warping and the set looking new for years to come.
Wonderful

I bought these for my ceramic top stove. I looked at a lot of pots & pans before I bought this item. I examined them at the store before purchasing them from Amazon. Amazon had the best price.

The are excellent and easy to clean. Just make sure you buy the right utensils to use for these pots so you don't scratch them.

Wow! And thank goodness I didn't go for the lower priced "spread." Analon's"Advanced" line is nothing short of superb. After most uses so far, gently running water appears to clean these pots and pans as if by magic (gently soaping them follows, of course.) Their weights are exactly right for me. The handles are quite comfortable. One might also want to buy the steamer attachment for the included larger pot and to buy a larger slant-sided skillet, too. Or not. And I might also mention: these things are great to cook in!
Excellent customer service

We received a set similar to this for our wedding over 11 years ago. About 8 or 9 years later, we noticed that the bottom was flaking on the large saute pan. When I looked at the website, I noticed that in the care instructions it advised not to use non-stick cooking spray (which we had used for one specific recipe). This specific instruction was not included in our original care information. I contacted the company with this issue, as the cookware comes with a 10 year warranty, and they asked us to send back the pan for inspection. Not long afterward (a week or so?) they sent us a brand new saute from this set as a replacement (as I said, our set was purchased years before and had been discontinued). Their responses were always efficient. The cookware is wonderful as well - easy to clean, cooks well - anyone who has cooked at my house and used this cookware has complimented me on it. The pieces that are now over 11 years old have held up quite well. And in a day when many large companies seem to be skimping in the customer service area, it's good to know that Analon stands behind their product and is looking out for their customers. Well worth the investment.

I've had this set for about 3 years now. I got it as a gift. I love the clear lids making it easy to see what I'm cooking. I also especially like this set because of the large pan . . . the additional handle and rubber grips on everything makes it much easier to maneuver on the stovetop. So far they seem to be just as high quality as the expensive brands, so I would definitely recommend them.
Love this cookware!

Reviewer: L. Lackey,
I previously had owned a set of Calpholon cookware for several years. However, it began to loose its nonstick surface on a couple of pieces, so I researched Consumer Reports Magazine for a suitable replacement set. Although I did like the Calpholon from the past, I decided to try the Anolon Advanced Nonstick set because it was rated so highly by Consumer Reports. I really do love this cookware and am so glad I decided on this set. Yes, you do need to wash by hand but I had been used to that before with the Calpholon. ( I am convinced that that had helped me to be able to use the Calpholon for as long as I had.) But, the self-stick surface of the Anolon is really something; you barely have to touch the surface to clean the remains of food. Almost everything just rinses away with soap and water.
The only con is that I wish that the 10 piece set would have included a 1 quart pan rather than a 1 1/2 quart pan. But that isn't much of a complaint. Everything else about the set is great!

We bought a new ceramic-top stove and wanted new pots and pans. I purchased this set strictly over the Internet. I read reviews and did research on many different sets and manufacturers. I was a little concerned based on some comments referring to its heavy weight. My wife is 5ft tall with arthritis so I was cautious. While the set is hefty as you might expect she has no problems lifting the pots with food in them. Perhaps the reviewers were referring more to the heavy gauge of the aluminum - it is thick. The new Teflon coating makes cooking and washing a breeze. Nothing appears to stick. We merely rinse them off with soap and water afterward and let dry. The clear glass lids allow us to peek in on the food without lifting them too - that's a plus. The handles don't get hot either and each piece looks nice & professional. All in all this is a great value for the money and we couldn't be more pleased. Thanks Analon!

Purchased at an outstanding sale price of under $200. I am thrilled with this newer version of an Anolon set I had owned for a number of years. As always, I did extensive research first.
Great set to start your collection

Reviewer: xeno,
I bought this set, along with a few other pieces, for my wife for her birthday. Like any product, your opinion of it's quality is affected by where you were coming from previously. Our previous cookware was not very good, and this blows it out of the water. Cooks very evenly, heats quickly, clean-up is a snap. You can safely cook up to 500 degrees (F), which covers most cooking situations on the stovetop. If you need extreme high heat, then buy another pan for that purpose (can't be nonstick, and will be hard to clean!). Glass covers are great - Easy to see how food is cooking when covered. At this price the set is a great value, though it does need a few add-ons to be complete.

I have had and used the set for several months now, really like them, they seem to cook hotter than other pots and pans I've used, it took some getting use to. I would recommended these for anyone who is wanting a great set of cookware.
Excellent Purchase

I purchased this cookware set about six weeks ago. We cook Sunday dinner for from 8-12 family members every week and the size of the large saute pan and stew pot have come in handy. I paid a few dollars more than the currently listed price, but it was definitely worth every penny......No sticking, easy clean-up, even cooking,.... best cookware I have ever used.
Great Cookware set

I was about to give up on non stick until I took a chance on this set. I absolutely love this cookware. It is truly no stick, and with proper care, should last a lifetime. I have used the saute and the dutch oven in my oven several times, and it is still like the day I bought it.
Some non stick cookware gets sticky over time, and I hated that. This has not done that even owning it for 2 years now. The only piece I don't like is the extra that was included as a freebie when I bought this, but wasn't a part of this set. It was a saute with two helper handles (no long handle), and was much thinner than the rest of the pieces. That piece does not cook evenly, but I still use it as it's a good size and I like that there is not a long handle.
I sometimes wish I could put this in the dishwasher, but I know it won't be a good idea. However, it's so easy to clean, it's really not an issue.
Really loving this cookware!

I've had these pans for about a month, and so far, I'm loving them! They are heavy duty, something you don't have to treat with kid gloves. You do have to hand wash them and take care of them, but if you're making such an investment, wouldn't you want to anyway? I am very pleased thus far!
